SEE THE DIFFERENCE AN RV PROFILE MAKES
The Route Changes When the GPS Knows Your RV
A car map only sees roads. RiVöt also sees the RV you entered—its dimensions, weight, towing setup, and routing preferences.
Same Destination. Different Route.
RiVöt uses the saved RV profile and the posted 40-foot restriction. Google Maps provides passenger-car route alternatives without an RV-length profile.
RV PROFILE ROUTE
RiVöt Routes Around the Restriction
The route is evaluated with the RV profile in mind and goes around the posted length restriction.
PASSENGER-CAR ROUTE
Google Maps Shows Car Routes
The passenger-car route alternatives do not use an entered RV length when planning this trip.
See the Full Routing Case Study
See how RiVöt handles a posted 40-foot length restriction and a 12′7″ railroad bridge—and how those route results compare with general-purpose navigation.

Quick answers about routing, devices, plans, and using RV Navigator responsibly.
What does RV-aware routing consider?
RiVöt uses your RV profile—including dimensions, weight, axle count, and towing setup—along with known road restrictions to help plan a route appropriate for your rig.
Does RV Navigator work with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?
Yes. Use the vehicle display for driver-facing maps, turn-by-turn guidance, lane guidance, and navigation information. A passenger can follow the synchronized trip on a separate device with Co-Pilot.
Can I plan a trip on my computer?
Yes. Build and review the trip on a larger screen, then sign in on your mobile devices to keep the route and trip information together.
Can I use downloaded maps when cellular coverage is limited?
RV Navigator supports downloaded maps for travel where coverage is limited. Live information such as traffic, weather, and newly reported conditions may still require a data connection.
Where is coverage available?
Coverage depends on available map, road, weather, and place data. Review every planned route before departure, especially when traveling in remote areas.
What is the difference between Solo and Crew?
Solo is designed for one RV traveler. Crew includes Co-Pilot on a second device, synchronized position and route information, and shared trip awareness for a traveling partner.
How does the free trial work?
Select Start a Free Trial to see the current trial length, subscription price, and renewal terms before you subscribe. Trial and introductory offers can vary by platform.
Does RV Navigator replace posted road signs?
No. RV Navigator is a planning and navigation aid. Always follow posted signs, closures, law-enforcement instructions, and your own judgment about whether a road is safe for your RV.
